Hyundai Motor has participated as a sponsor in various local and international football tournaments including Europe's biggest football event, the UEFA European Football Championship (EURO 2000TM). It will again serve as a local supplier of the 2004 Athens Olympics.
During the 2002 FIFA Korea/Japan World CupTM, Hyundai Motor provided a total of 1,053 vehicles for the official use of both the Korea and Japan Local Organizing Committees.
